Hello World!
I am a final year student studying BA(Hons) Fashion studies at the Arts University in Bournemouth.
I have been working as a  personal stylist for Debenhams, for 3 years now,  and this has generated a growing and passionate interest in the styling men and women.
With experiencing a positive response with individuals through personal styling for Debenhams. I have experienced and acknowledge that I have a strength in this area, and this role can have such a positive effect on individuals and is very rewarding to see this effect.

The idea to combine fitness with fashion, was formed by my participation in competitive sport throughout the majority of my life. I hope to combine the feeling of well-being derived from the effects of regular exercise with a rewarding personal styling service. With this exciting goal in mind, I have also briefed and directed a design student Emily Garrod, to design a dance inspired fitness wear collection, which is suitable for general fitness wear.
I would like to showcase my knowledge and formulas I have devised over the years to individuals who lack confidence when it comes to identifying certain colours, fit, shape and style of clothing to best suit their individual shape, My main aim, is to eliminate those horrible unsuccessful shopping experiences, and direct to the right product best suited to you.
If you are interested in STYLE./DIAMOND, I would very grateful if you would kindly select “follow” in the  top right hand corner of the screen, and I am able to keep you posted with the updates!

“Live your shape”,

*I think every women should celebrate and learn to love their individual shape.

Here, on beautiful bournemouth beach; I was experimenting with communication methods I choreographed Latin-Amercian dance styles, to communicate a message, to all women.

I took inspiration from the negiotated Latino theme, with Ginny Marsh and incorporated a focus of feminine silhouette, taking inspiration from Richard Tunsel, a dance photographer.

Our lovely model is wearing a shift dress; which elongates her petite torso lengthening her figure, the rose pink compliments her warm “rumba*” colouring.

Kemi, a colleague of mine is in the process of setting up her own image consultancy business, she currently has 12 clients  around the central London.I wanted to ask her about the wardrobe detox, as I for style diamond I would like to involve a wedoredo, Kelly Levell the founder of an upcoming ethical organisation. Kemi elimates clothing you have in your wardrobe, and identifies the “keepers”. All the “No No’s” she gives the clothes to charity. With the wardrobe detox I will perform I will send the clothes to wedoredo to be revamped.Through this meeting, I learnt new facts about Image Consultancy;….First impressions are important interestingly 93% is based on your image and only 7% is what you say.…..Normally the duration of a wardrobe detox is normally every six months.…..Kemi said as part as being Kemistyle she feel there is a need for her to have a “product” to sell her service.I would like to design a product, that I am able to offer my client for the style diamond service….

Exercises to establish your style; In the consultation process in my personal style appointment, I asked one of my clients, to talk me about her individual qualities that she possesses, and ask her to write them down to reflect on these. I am a great believer of recording information; as this helps you reflect and move forwards with confidence.

Through recording this task, I was able to further my knowledge of my client’s personality and choose clothes to particularly reflect her as an individual.

*Fashion should not wear you, it emphasise the individuality of you; I particularly choose an outfits to suit the body shape, trendy and has personality!

Today, I went with Ginny to the Wedding Fair, in order to source inspiration for the styling of the editorial colloboration. Ginny wants to incorporate a dance theme, as a young girl, I trained as a Latin and Amercian and Ballroom dancer, and I informed her of a new wave of dance which has recently taken the UK by storm which is called ZUMBA; a Latin American Dance style merging all different styles from South America, it would be completely new and conceptual to take Latin American Dance dresses into the styling of the wedding, creating a very vibrant and energetic shoot.

The catwalk show, was fantastic! The models featured in the catwalk did not only just walk they danced in the dress, I think this is a great message to project; fashion is about living; it show’s the fashion is not only visual; it is functional and allows freedom for movement!

To create a really beautiful shoot, where the dresses dazzle the model’s shape colouring, I asked Ginny to:

*require all six models profile pictures; full length pictures and sizes and shoe sizes.
* required 3 dresses picture from a *Rina’s Bridal Couture and shoes to match.
* require pictures of choosen scene for Compton Acres in Poole.

I will provide:
: X3 dresses, men’s suits(I talk to Debenhams on Monday)
Mojgan Bridal Couture (Back-Up for dresses)
*Shoe Designer Nadderzique.

A new shop I noticed, appeared just around the corner to me, and popped in through being dazzled by the beautiful window display and the diamond on the floor!

I was greeted by Mojgan, the designer of the store.
Her design’s are esquisite, and I enquired if she had a personal stylist in store to help choose the perfect wedding dress for a potential client.

Mojgan designs the dresses, and has a studio upstairs, her shops are located in London aswell.

I made her aware of my experience I had with Debenhams; and ask her if there was any positioned available, she she said she would be looking for a saturday morning and a thursday afternoon, to help assist on the floor. I thought this could increase my awareness and develop a service for styling bridal wear.

I popped in my CV the next day!

Today I had a meeting with a commercial photographer Ginny Marsh, who is looking to collaborate for her Final Major Project.  www.ginnymarsh.co.uk.The shoot will be going ahead on the 3rd of March, I can see that her work is similar to mine that it has a commercial element, and with this shoot she is looking to create a more conceptual shoot, which takes inspiration form Mario Testino. Her concept is orientated around the dance theme, as a dancer, I offered my knowledge to choreograph the models into some interesting poses.I told Ginny, Zumba is a new wave of dance style combining Latin American and South American dance styles, I thought be great to incorporate this theme into the poses for the models, to create vibrancy in the shoot. The shooting:rulesLooking to showcase in Brides to Be, Wedding magazine. 6 models../Wedding shooting; discussed location: Compton Acres in Poole../ Mode profiles and body shapes../ Concept looking to take on the dance theme; and fun and quirky.Edgyness.
